Anla Courtis

Anla Courtis (also known as Alan Courtis) is an Argentine musician, artist, composer, and sound artist born on February 22, 1972. He's a versatile artist with a background in classical guitar, piano, music theory, and composition. Courtis co-founded the experimental group Reynols in 1993, which gained recognition in the avant-garde music scene. He's known for his prolific output, having released numerous albums and collaborations across various experimental and noise music labels worldwide.

Courtis's work often explores unconventional sound sources and techniques, including manipulated cassette tapes and other found objects. He's also involved in academic pursuits, holding a degree in Communication Science from the University of Buenos Aires, where he runs an annual music workshop. His diverse discography spans genres like noise, drone, and experimental music, showcasing his innovative approach to sound art.
