Jae Hong Park
Jae Hong Park is a South Korean classical pianist celebrated for his dazzling virtuosity and compelling stage presence. Born in 1999 in Suwon, he began playing piano at age 7 and made his first stage appearance at 9. Park's international breakthrough came in 2021 when he won the prestigious Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition, taking home first prize along with four special awards. He has also claimed top honors at the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition for Young Artists and the Cleveland International Piano Competition for Young Artists, among others.
Park has performed with major orchestras including the Israel Philharmonic, Seoul Philharmonic, Utah Symphony, and ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, collaborating with renowned conductors such as Myung-Whun Chung and Gianandrea Noseda. He has appeared at prominent festivals and renowned venues worldwide, playing a repertoire that spans from Beethoven to Rachmaninoff and Scriabin. Currently studying at Korea National University of Arts under Prof. Daejin Kim, Park is quickly establishing himself as one of the most promising pianists of his generation.
