Maria Cangiano

Maria Cangiano is a talented Argentine singer-songwriter known for her versatility in multiple musical genres, including folk and tango. Born in 1963, she has a background in opera, which influences her melodramatic style, but she has adapted her voice to the lower keys and expressive phrasing required by tango. Cangiano has released several notable albums, such as *Corazón de Mujer*, which features her original compositions, and *Baladas para Mi Vida y Muerte*, a tribute to Astor Piazzolla. Her more recent work includes *Renacere*, another Piazzolla tribute, and *Pandemonium*.
