Gaye Bykers On Acid, also shortened to GBOA, is a British psychedelic rock band formed in Leicester, England in 1984. During their initial run, the band was known for their energetic live performances, often incorporating elements of comedy and theatre. They gained a following in the UK's psychedelic and rave scene in the 1980s, with their blend of punk, psychedelic, and electronic elements.
Although they broke up in 1991, the band members pursued various side projects, and Gaye Bykers On Acid eventually reformed in the 2000s. Since then, they have been releasing music and performing live, usually offering energetic and entertaining shows for their devoted fan base.
