Nia Sultana

Nia Sultana is a Brooklyn-born singer and songwriter who brings together Neo-Soul, Alt-R&B, and hints of synth-Pop for a fresh, genre-blending sound. She first made waves in 2019 with her track “Coconut Water,” which became her unofficial introduction to the world thanks to its sultry, modern R&B vibe. Growing up in Brooklyn’s Starrett City projects, Nia was inspired by her singer mother and musically talented sister, eventually gaining recognition for her YouTube and Twitter covers—most notably renditions of Frank Ocean’s “Novacane” and a Fabolous remix. Her debut EP, “Bigger Dreams,” led by the single “Ambience,” highlights love songs centered around female empowerment and self-respect, with Nia aiming to be a positive role model for young women. She is currently signed to Interscope Records and continues to shape her unique musical identity as she prepares for her debut album, all while maintaining a strong presence on social media and streaming platforms.

Nia’s recent releases—including “Some Feelings Never Go Away,” “Bigger Dreams,” “Coconut Water,” “Positions,” and “FTBU”—showcase her smooth, soulful vocals and thoughtful songwriting, making her a rising star in contemporary R&B. With a focus on authenticity and originality, she strives to create music that reflects her personal journey and inspires listeners to value themselves.
