Yefim Bronfman

Yefim Bronfman is a virtuoso pianist celebrated for his commanding technique and exceptional lyrical gifts. Born on April 10, 1958, in Tashkent, then part of the Soviet Union, Bronfman immigrated to Israel with his family in 1973, and later became an American citizen in 1989. He studied at the Rubin Academy of Music in Tel Aviv, the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, and the Juilliard School. His playing is known for its power, precision, and depth of expression.
