Mykhaylo Zakhariya is a talented cimbalom virtuoso born on October 14, 1987, in Moldova to a family of professional musicians. He began playing the dulcimer at the age of two and was admitted to music school at three, where he also learned to play the violin, piano, and flute. By age four, he was already performing publicly. Mykhaylo has a decorated career with numerous awards from international competitions. He is married to the Slovak pianist Dana Demeova, and together they have performed many concerts. Mykhaylo has released albums such as "Musical Mosaic" (with Dana Zakhariya) and "CimbalArt", showcasing his skill with the cimbalom. He has also been associated with the Slovak folk rock band Hrdza.
