Wings of Desire
Wings of Desire is a British electronic music duo formed in 1985 by Laurence "Lol" Tolhurst and Martin Gore. Tolhurst was a former member of The Cure, while Gore is still a member of the band. Wings of Desire released their debut album, "Wings of Desire", in 1986. The album was a commercial success, reaching the top 10 in the UK and the top 20 in the US. The duo has released a total of four studio albums, the most recent being "Wings of Desire IV" in 2013. Their music is characterized by its use of synthesizers, drum machines, and samples. Wings of Desire has been praised for their innovative and atmospheric sound.
