3BallMTY (pronounced "Tribal Monterrey") is a Latin electronic music group from Monterrey, Mexico, that has been instrumental in popularizing the tribal guarachero genre, which blends traditional Mexican cumbia with electronic music and house elements. The group was formed in 2009 and consists of DJs Erick Rincon, Sergio Zavala (DJ Sheeqo Beat), and Alberto Presenda (DJ Otto). Their innovative style and energetic performances have gathered a loyal fan base and earned them recognition in the global music scene.
The band's breakout success came with the release of their hit single "Inténtalo", which is also the title track of their 2011 debut album. The single featured vocals from El Bebeto and America Sierra, helping to launch both the song and 3BallMTY to the forefront of the Latin music industry. The group has won several awards, including the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist in 2012.
