Imperial Crystalline Entombment I.C.E

Imperial Crystalline Entombment (I.C.E.) is an American black metal band formed in 2003, known for their chilling blend of second-wave black metal coldness mixed with melodic death metal influences. The group embraces wintry and apocalyptic themes, centered around the lore of an ancient astral anti-god named Råvaskeith, whose spirit is said to possess the band members to bring about a frozen apocalypse. Their music is characterized by blast beats, foreboding riffs, and hellish vocals, creating an atmosphere of icy desolation that appeals to fans of black metal's frostbitten aesthetics. Their debut album, *Apocalyptic End in White* (2004), quickly gained cult status for its raw yet melodic intensity and enigmatic presentation, with members using cryptic aliases and maintaining a mysterious identity.

After a long hiatus, I.C.E. reemerged nearly two decades later with new material like *Ancient Glacial Resurgence* (2023), continuing their signature frozen soundscape with powerful production and relentless speed. The band features artists from other notable extreme metal projects like Aurora Borealis and Divine Rapture, including Ron Vento (Bleak/Blisserred) and J.J. Hrubovcak (Mammoth), among others.
