Rosy & Andres

Rosy & Andres were a Dutch musical duo composed of Rosy Pereira and Dries Holten. They were active primarily in the mid to late 1970s. Rosy is the daughter of Indonesian steel guitarist Coy Pereira, and Andres is a Dutch singer-songwriter of Indonesian descent. Andres gained international recognition when he represented the Netherlands at the 1972 Eurovision Song Contest. The duo is best known for their hit single "My Love," which reached the top ten in the Dutch charts in 1976. Their music often blended pop with international influences, reflecting their diverse backgrounds.

Some of their notable releases include "Sausalito," "My Love," "I Was Born To Love," and "I Believe In You." The duo's music was popular not only in the Netherlands but also gained recognition in other European countries. Over the years, they released several albums, including "My Love" and "Come Closer," showcasing their unique blend of styles and talents. Despite their success in the 1970s, they remain a nostalgic reminder of the era's musical diversity.
