The Yugos are a Canadian indie rock band formed in 2009 in Toronto, Ontario. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Adam Michael, bassist and vocalist Luke Bentham, and drummer and vocalist Jesse Locke. The Yugos have released four studio albums, including their self-titled debut in 2011, "Take the Backstreet" in 2014, "Burning" in 2017, and "Life Is Awesome and Then You Live Forever" in 2022. Their music has been described as a blend of indie rock, post-punk, and shoegaze, with catchy melodies and introspective lyrics. The Yugos have toured extensively throughout Canada and the United States, and have shared the stage with bands such as The National, Interpol, and Spoon.
