DJ Kane

DJ Kane, born Jason Cano on June 8, 1975, in Houston, Texas, is a distinguished figure in the Latin music scene, primarily known for his influential role in the Tejano and cumbia genres. Beginning his music career in the late 1990s, DJ Kane first rose to prominence as the lead vocalist for the groundbreaking Tejano band Kumbia Kings, which was co-founded by A.B. Quintanilla, the brother of the late Tejano superstar Selena. His tenure with Kumbia Kings saw the fusion of traditional cumbia with urban and pop elements, which helped redefine the genre for a new generation.

In the early 2000s, DJ Kane embarked on a solo career, accentuating his versatility and innovation in music production and performance.
