Sylent Nqo, known as "The Guitar Sangoma," is a versatile Zimbabwean and Mozambican musician. Born on June 30, 1994, he began his musical journey at a young age, influenced by his parents' gift of a guitar and a set of marimba. He is celebrated for his eclectic fusion of musical styles from diverse ethnic sources, blending genres in a unique way that transcends borders. Sylent has toured extensively across the globe, performing in countries like Tanzania, Botswana, Namibia, Norway, Sweden, Egypt, Italy, and the USA. He has collaborated with prominent artists such as Dr. Oliver Mtukudzi, Hugh Masekela, and Davido. In 2016, he won the Senior Solo Instrumental Grand Champion award at the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Hollywood, becoming the first Zimbabwean to achieve this honor.

He has released songs like "Vakuruwe," advocating for wildlife preservation, and "Let Him Go," aligned with the 16 Days of Activism campaign against GBV.
