De Raggende Manne is a Dutch rock band renowned for their energetic performances and their unique blend of punk and spoken word sung in the Dutch language. The group originated from Amsterdam and was formed in the late 1980s by frontman Bob Fosko, who became known for his distinctive vocal style and frenetic stage presence. Their music is characterized by its raw sound, catchy riffs, and Fosko's sarcastic and sometimes absurdist lyrics, which often reflect social and personal themes.

Throughout the 1990s, de Raggende Manne gained popularity in the alternative music scene in the Netherlands, due in part to their intense live shows and a string of successful albums.
