De-Bons-en-Pierre

De-Bons-en-Pierre is a collaborative project between two influential figures in the electronic music scene: Beau Wanzer, a Chicago-based experimental house and techno producer, and Maoupa Mazzocchetti, a Brussels-based electro artist. The duo combines their unique styles to create a blend of industrial, cold-wave, and experimental techno sounds. Their collaboration began after Maoupa Mazzocchetti reached out to Beau Wanzer, leading to a creative meeting in Brussels where they quickly jammed and recorded tracks in a spontaneous session. This impromptu method has been central to their creative process, often resulting in experimental and genre-pushing releases, such as the ‘Crepes’ EP, which garnered attention for its inventive blend of sounds.

Their recent releases include ‘Card Short of a Full Deck’, ‘Scene Serpents’, and ‘EP, No. 2’, showcasing their continued exploration of experimental electronic music. The name "De-Bons-en-Pierre" has a personal origin for Maoupa Mazzocchetti, drawing from his family history. Their music has been released through labels like Dark Entries, which is known for its eclectic and innovative catalog, fitting well with De-Bons-en-Pierre's artistic identity.
