Daytona is a Swedish melodic rock band formed during the pandemic by guitarist Erik Heikne, formerly of Miss Behaviour, and vocalist Fredrik Werner from Gothenburg. The band also features Johan Berlin on keyboards, Niclas Lindblom on bass, and Calle Larsson on drums. Their music blends timeless melodic rock influences, and their debut album is set to be released via Escape Music. The project began as a solo effort by Heikne but quickly evolved into a full band collaboration as they connected over shared musical backgrounds and inspirations.
