David del Puerto is a Spanish classical guitarist and composer who has made a name for himself with his innovative and expressive playing style. Born in Madrid in 1964, del Puerto began playing guitar at the age of 10 and quickly developed a passion for the instrument. He studied at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid and later at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, where he honed his skills under the tutelage of renowned guitarists such as José Tomás and Leo Brouwer.

Del Puerto's music is characterized by its emotional depth, technical brilliance, and exploration of new sounds and textures.
