Soma is a musician from Ishikari, Japan, best known for her exceptional drumming skills. She began playing drums at age 2 and was performing in concerts by age 4. Soma gained international attention in 2018 at age 8 when her cover of Led Zeppelin's "Good Times Bad Times" went viral online. She's considered one of the best female drummers under 21 years old.
In addition to drums, Soma plays bass guitar, guitar, keyboards, xylophone and percussion. She has released albums featuring her drumming, vocals and songwriting. Soma performs with her family band, Kaneaiyoyoka, alongside her parents who are also professional musicians.
