Ariane Haering is a Swiss-born pianist, hailing from La Chaux-de-Fonds where she kicked off her musical journey at age five (or six, per some accounts) with lessons at the local Collège musical. She honed her skills under teachers like Cécile Pantillon and Catherine Courvoisier in Switzerland, plus Clifton in the U.S., building an international career as a sought-after soloist and chamber musician—think duo gigs with violinist Benjamin Schmid and stints as a mezzo-soprano too.
These days, she's the piano powerhouse of the Alban Berg Ensemble Wien, formed in 2016 with the Hugo Wolf Quartet and others, dropping killer releases on labels like Deutsche Grammophon featuring Mahler, Strauss, and Schönberg. A senior lecturer at Mozarteum University in Salzburg, where she lives with her four kids, Ariane keeps the classical fire burning through orchestral, oratorio, and modern works.
