Special Interest

Special Interest is a post-punk band from New Orleans, Louisiana, formed in 2017. The band consists of Alli Logout (vocals), Ruth Mascelli (guitar), Nathan Cassiani (bass), and Maria Elena (drums). Their music is characterized by its angular guitars, driving rhythms, and Logout's distinctive, spoken-word vocals. Special Interest has released two full-length albums, "Spiraling" (2018) and "The Passion of" (2020), as well as several EPs and singles. They have toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and have been praised for their energetic live performances.
