Gjoko Tanevski

Gjoko Tanevski is a Macedonian pop-rock singer who began his music career in 1996, first gaining attention at the popular Macedonian festival Makfest. Born on March 2, 1977, in Ohrid, he has released two studio albums, "Zbogum Najmila" (2007) and "Nikogas Dosta" (2009). Gjoko is best known internationally for representing North Macedonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 held in Oslo with the song "Jas ja imam silata" ("I Have the Strength"). Although he did not qualify for the final, his performance helped raise his profile beyond his home country. His music blends emotional pop-rock with heartfelt lyrics, making him a notable figure in the Macedonian music scene.
