Kidbug

Kidbug is an international supergroup formed by musicians Marina Tadic (Eerie Wanda) and Adam Harding (Dumb Numbers), with Thor Harris (Swans, Thor & Friends) and Bobb Bruno (Best Coast) completing the lineup. The band's origins are rooted in a romantic collaboration between Tadic and Harding, which blossomed during Joyful Noise Recordings' annual holiday album sessions in 2018. Their music is described as "cuddlebug sludge," blending Harding's grungy, fuzzy guitar sound with Tadic's dreamy, left-field pop influences. The group's debut album, self-titled as "Kidbug," was released in 2020.

Kidbug's sound is influenced by iconic bands like Nirvana, My Bloody Valentine, and Sonic Youth, reflecting a mix of grunge and psychedelic elements. Their music is characterized by its harmoniously spiky texture, combining the best of both worlds from their diverse musical backgrounds. The band's formation and creative process were marked by a long-distance exchange of musical ideas, which eventually led to the effortless collaboration that defines their unique sound.
