Briget Boyle

Briget Boyle is a talented singer-songwriter based in Oakland, California. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she began writing her own music at the age of 12. Her musical journey took a fascinating turn when she discovered the rich traditional folk music of the Balkans during her studies at the College of Santa Fe, where she focused on Music Performance & Composition. This exposure led her to perform with notable groups like Kitka Women's Vocal Ensemble and Brass Menažeri Balkan Brass Band. Briget is also a founding member of the True Life Trio and has worked as a session vocalist. She has been involved in various projects, including founding the independent record label Waxsimile Productions and a queer musician collective. Briget is known for her distinctive blend of musical styles, which draws inspiration from Balkan, Eastern European, and American roots music.

In addition to her performances, Briget is a dedicated educator, offering voice lessons that are both inspiring and personalized to her students' musical tastes. Her work has been featured in various settings, including her own solo recordings and collaborations with other artists.
