**Skaladdin** is a Swiss ska-punk band from Hinterkappelen, a small village near Bern. Formed in 1998 by a group of eight young musicians from Bern, the band initially played cover versions of their favorite ska bands before developing their unique sound, which blends ska with punk influences. Skaladdin's founding members included Markus Luginbühl, Manuel Furrer, Peter Luginbühl, Philipp Erhart, Philipp Rohr, Florian Weber, and Marc Fuhrer. Over time, the band has released several albums, including *Rub the Lamp* (2001), *Far-Off From Okay* (2004), and *Young, Handsome & We Know It* (2006). Skaladdin gained popularity by performing with international bands like Reel Big Fish and Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra. The band's lineup has seen some changes over the years, with notable departures including Manuel Furrer in 2005.
