### Diane Denoir
Diane Denoir, born Diana Reches Mehler on January 21, 1947, is a renowned Uruguayan singer. She was born in Montevideo to Austrian parents and began her musical career in the 1960s, marked by her participation in the innovative *Conciertos Beat* in 1966. During this period, she performed alongside Eduardo Mateo, a prominent figure in Uruguayan music, who composed many songs for her. Denoir's style is reminiscent of singers like Astrud Gilberto and Françoise Hardy, and she is noted for her versatile performances, often singing in multiple languages.
Denoir's discography includes her self-titled album released in 1972, later reissued as a CD in 2005, *Inéditas* (1998), which features collaborations with Eduardo Mateo, and *Quién Te Viera* (2008). Her music gained renewed attention in the 2000s, particularly after the re-release of her early work. Despite facing challenges during Uruguay's military dictatorship in the 1970s, Denoir remains an important figure in Uruguayan popular music. One of her notable collaborations is the song *Señora Diana La Ví*, which features Eduardo Mateo.
