Ratboys

Ratboys, a Chicago-based indie rock band, weaves the comforting tones of Americana with the raw energy of post-collegiate anxiety. Formed at the University of Notre Dame by Julia Steiner (vocals, guitar) and David Sagan (guitar) in 2011, their music is known for its lyrical storytelling and melodic craftsmanship. What began as an acoustic duo gradually expanded into a full band, now including a rhythm section that provides a sturdy backbone for their growing sound.

Alongside studio albums, Ratboys have an eclectic mix of releases such as live sessions, an 8-bit version of their album "GL," and a celebratory compilation "Happy Birthday, Ratboy," which commemorates the expanse of their musical journey.
