Claudio Tallino

Claudio Tallino is an Italian composer, conductor, and lyricist known for his work in film soundtracks. His career in cinema began in 1968 with the score for the Spaghetti Western "Killer Adios" (also known as "Killer Goodbye"). He continued to compose for films, including "Càlamo" in 1976, which faced censorship issues due to its content. Tallino also worked on the soundtrack for Alberto Cavallone's "The Man, the Woman and the Beast – Spell *Sweet Slaughterhouse," although this soundtrack remains unavailable. In the 1980s, he explored funk music with two records titled "Red Blood." After a hiatus, he returned to composing for arthouse cinema in the early 2000s, with his latest known work being "Vicino al fiume" in 2004.

Tallino's music often features elements of Giallo and sleazy thrilling sounds, characterized by dark, fuzzy, and trippy elements. Despite his contributions to Italian cinema, there is limited biographical information available about his personal life or studies. His work remains notable for its unique blend of styles and its impact on the soundtracks of cult films.
