Trio Os Boemios

Trio Os Boemios is a beloved Portuguese musical group that traces its origins back to 1991, when three friends—Manuel Leite, Adelino Gomes, and José Maia—formed the trio following the split of a six-member band. Initially, they played a mix of South American tunes and popular Portuguese songs, quickly gaining local popularity. Their career kicked off with three cassette releases under Editora Horizonte, and over time, they expanded their sound and lineup by adding a keyboardist and other musicians, evolving into a full band for their live shows.

Notable moments in their journey include the 1997 release of “O meu amor não mata,” affectionately called “Bomba” by fans, and their increasing visibility through Portuguese television appearances. In 1998, they released the album “Canarinho Prisioneiro” and started performing with a full band, which aided their growth. By 2000, they had even made their first TV appearance in Spain, specifically in Galicia. Their music blends heartfelt lyrics and melodies, capturing the spirit of their roots and connecting warmly with audiences.
