Sieglinde Größinger is a Salzburg-born flutist who's made a name for herself as a versatile soloist, chamber player, and orchestral musician, rocking everything from Baroque and Romantic gems on period instruments to cutting-edge contemporary tunes. She honed her skills on modern and transverse flute in Vienna, Graz, Oslo, Amsterdam, and Brussels under heavyweights like Barthold Kuijken, Frank Theuns, and Marten Root, and she's guested with top outfits like the Vienna Symphony, Vienna State Opera, and Musiciens du Louvre.
As co-founder of Ensemble Klingekunst back in 2009, she's dropped killer world-premiere recordings, like the earliest Viennese flute concertos that snagged the Ö1 Pasticcio Prize in 2018, and she's got fresh heat like the 2025 Umstatt harpsichord and flute concerto album with Maja Mijatović. A longtime member of the contemporary crew Platypus for premieres, plus ensembles like minui and Harmony of Nations Baroque Orchestra, Sieglinde's lit up festivals from Salzburger Festspiele to Wien Modern and toured Europe, Asia, and the Americas with maestros like Simon Rattle and Jordi Savall.
