Thunderclap Newman

Thunderclap Newman was a British rock band formed in 1969 by Speedy Keen (vocals, guitar), John "Speedy" Keene (bass), and Andy Newman (drums). They are best known for their 1969 hit single "Something in the Air," which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart. The band's sound was characterized by its use of fuzz guitar and psychedelic effects, and their lyrics often dealt with themes of love, loss, and social change. Thunderclap Newman released two albums, "Hollywood Dream" (1969) and "Second Album" (1970), before disbanding in 1971.
