Joywave

Joywave is an American indie rock band hailing from Rochester, New York, with a sound that blends alternative rock with electronic and pop influences to create their distinctive style. Formed in 2010, the band consists of Daniel Armbruster (vocals), Joseph Morinelli (guitar), Benjamin Bailey (keyboards), and Paul Brenner (drums). They first gained major attention with their involvement in Big Data's track "Dangerous," which became a hit in 2013. However, it was their 2014 single "Tongues," featuring KOPPS, and the subsequent release of their debut studio album, "How Do You Feel Now?" in 2015, that solidified their position in the indie music scene.

Joywave continued to make waves with their refreshing and experimental approach to music, a trait vividly showcased in their subsequent albums, "Content" (2017) and "Possession" (2020). As Joywave's discography expanded, their thematic range and willingness to tackle different sounds stayed intact, evident in their 2021 EP, "Every Window Is A Mirror," which garnered several inventive remixes. The band's creativity and flair for confronting contemporary themes are evident in their more recent singles, including "The Mall" and "Everything's The Best!" Joywave's ability to evolve while maintaining a core sense of musicality ensures they remain a captivating fixture in the alternative music world.
