Khadaver is a Slovak industrial/electro metal band formed in 2006 by guitarist Nihil Nix in Prešov, Slovakia. The band combines electronic elements with raw metallic fury, drawing inspiration from bands like Dope Stars Inc., The Kovenant, and Deathstars. Khadaver has released two full-length albums: "New World Disorder" in 2012 and "Exstinctio Mundi" in 2015. The band has undergone several lineup changes over the years, with Nihil Nix being the constant driving force. Khadaver has performed at notable festivals and events, including supporting Kreator and participating in the Wacken Metal Battle Slovakia. After a period of inactivity from 2016 to 2021, Nihil Nix revived Khadaver as a solo project and later transformed it back into a full band.
Khadaver's music often explores themes of societal critique and technological impact, as seen in their recent single "High-Tech Genocide," which delves into the dangers of hybrid warfare. Their style blends blackened metal with symphonic elements, creating a unique sound within the cyber metal genre. Despite facing challenges and lineup changes, Khadaver continues to evolve and produce music that resonates with fans of industrial and electronic metal.
