**Ensemble Aventure** is a trailblazing contemporary chamber music ensemble based in Freiburg, Germany, founded in 1986. They've been champions of cutting-edge sounds for nearly four decades, diving into unknown sonic territories with top-notch performances, while also reaching out through workshops with music students, kids' projects, and collabs with amateur musicians.
What sets them apart is their passion for giving voice to overlooked stories—like music from politically persecuted composers and fresh voices from Latin America and beyond, with hundreds of world premieres, around 25 CDs, and a killer concert series under their belt. You'll catch them playing works by folks like Hilda Paredes, Mariano Etkin, and Michael Quell, often under conductor Nicholas Reed with a rotating crew of stellar musicians on flute, oboe, clarinet, and more.
