Wael Daou

Wael Daou is a Brazilian composer and guitarist known for his work in progressive metal and shred music, with a distinctive blend of Oriental influences. Originally from Lebanon, he spent part of his teenage years there before moving back to Brazil, where he was inspired to pursue music and eventually formed his own project. Wael Daou’s releases, including the album “Sand Crusader” and tracks like “Salah El Dine,” “Genghis Khan,” and “Xerxes,” showcase his technical skill and creative fusion of metal, Middle Eastern sounds, and world music, earning him recognition among fans of the genre. He is based in Belém, Pará, Brazil, and remains active as a musician.
