Danger Danger

Danger Danger is an American hard rock band that rose to prominence during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Formed in 1987 in Queens, New York, the band originally consisted of lead vocalist Ted Poley, guitarist Andy Timmons, bassist Bruno Ravel, keyboardist Kasey Smith, and drummer Steve West. They quickly made a name for themselves with their self-titled debut album "Danger Danger" in 1989, which included hits like "Naughty Naughty" and "Bang Bang," capturing the era's blend of glam metal and rock'n'roll excess.

Despite a constantly shifting music industry and personnel changes, Danger Danger managed to maintain a dedicated following throughout the years. After their follow-up album "Screw It!" in 1991, the band experienced turmoil and lineup changes that included the replacement of lead singer Ted Poley with Paul Laine for several albums. The band's style evolved over the years, as showcased in their later works like "Four the Hard Way" (1997) and "The Return of the Great Gildersleeves" (2000). Their most recent studio album "Revolve," released in 2009, marked the return of original lead vocalist Ted Poley, and the band reclaimed some of their classic sound that first catapulted them to fame. While they might not be in the limelight as much as they were during their heyday, Danger Danger continues to have a loyal fanbase and a legacy within the melodic hard rock community, capturing the essence of a bygone era through their energetic performances and catchy, anthemic songs.
