Reinis Zariņš

Reinis Zariņš is a Latvian pianist who has made a name for himself with his passionate and expressive performances. Born in Riga, Latvia, Zariņš began playing the piano at the age of five and quickly showed a natural talent for music. He went on to study at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, where he honed his skills under the tutelage of some of the country's most renowned musicians.

Zariņš has performed extensively throughout Latvia and Europe, and has also toured to the United States and Asia. He has released several critically acclaimed albums, including "Vasks: Piano Works," "Schumann: Kreisleriana & Dzenitis: Octagon," and "Lūcija Garūta: Music for Piano." Zariņš is known for his versatility, and his repertoire includes works from the Baroque period to the present day. He is also a passionate advocate for Latvian music, and has premiered many new works by Latvian composers.
