Jangy Leeon

Jangy Leeon is a Milanese rapper born in 1987, known for his gritty vocal style and a deep passion for black and Latin music, as well as combat sports like Brazilian jiu-jitsu and MMA. He grew up in Milan's Ripamonti district and came into hip hop culture through writing and rapping during his teenage years, carving out his place in the underground scene with battles, jams, and showcases. He founded the Mad Soul Legacy crew in 2006 and released his first solo album "Lionel Collection" in 2013. Over the years, Jangy Leeon has built a significant reputation in Italian hip hop through a mix of solo projects and collaborations with notable rappers such as Dani Faiv, Axos, and Merkules. His 2017 album "L’Era Della Bestia" was crowdfunded and featured many prominent names in the scene. He continued exploring Latin-influenced sounds in albums like "ELDORADO" (2018) and "Full Moon Confusion" (2020), blending his diverse musical tastes with a rugged rap delivery that reflects his streetwise background. Jangy Leeon also co-founded Caveau Studios with fellow rapper Jack The Smoker, further cementing his role as a key figure in Milan's hip hop landscape.
