Gallhammer

Gallhammer are a Japanese all-female extreme metal band formed in Tokyo in 2003. Known for their raw, visceral sound, they blend elements of crust punk, black metal, and doom metal into a truly ferocious sonic assault. The trio, consisting of Vivian Slaughter (vocals, bass), Mika Penetrator (guitar, vocals), and Risa Reaper (drums), gained a cult following with their intense live performances and bleak, nihilistic lyrical themes. They've toured extensively across the globe, sharing stages with other heavy hitters in the extreme metal scene.

While the band went on hiatus in 2010, they eventually returned in 2014, much to the delight of their fans. They continue to create and perform their unique brand of crushing, atmospheric metal, proving that Gallhammer remains a powerful force in the underground.
