Charma Gal, born Magadeline Lesolobe in 1983, is a renowned Botswana singer-songwriter from the small village of Lerala. She is one of the founding members of the cultural dance group Culture Spears, which was established in 2005. After leaving Culture Spears, Charma Gal formed her own group, Eke Ntolo, and has since released seven albums. Her music career includes notable collaborations with international artists like Jah Prayzah and Master KG. In 2018, she released her seventh studio album, *Lekgamu La Bananyana*, which gained significant attention, with the title track reaching the top 10 on the Yarona FM Top 20 Countdown. Charma Gal has also been featured on tracks by prominent artists such as Makhadzi.
Charma Gal's personal life includes being a mother of two and having been married to Kabelo Mogwe, with whom she later divorced in 2016. Her music often reflects her cultural roots and personal experiences, making her a beloved figure in Botswana's music scene.
