Dietrich Knothe
Dietrich Knothe is a German conductor and music director who has made a significant contribution to the world of choral music. He is particularly renowned for his work with the Berlin Singakademie, which he has led since 1994. Under his direction, the choir has achieved international acclaim for its performances of a wide range of choral repertoire, from Renaissance polyphony to contemporary works. Knothe is also a respected scholar and has published several books on choral music.
