Pepper

Pepper is an American rock band originally from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, but has since relocated to Southern California. The group is known for their upbeat and sun-soaked fusion of reggae, dub, and rock that often incorporates elements of ska and punk, giving them a distinctive sound within the reggae rock genre. Formed in the late 1990s by guitarist/vocalist Kaleo Wassman, bassist/vocalist Bret Bollinger, and drummer Yesod Williams, Pepper has built a devoted following through their energetic live shows and relentless touring.

Since their self-released debut album, "Give'n It," Pepper has consistently crafted catchy, radio-friendly tunes that resonate with fans of laid-back, beachside vibes. Their discography has grown steadily over the years, including successful releases like "Kona Town" and "No Shame." They have also worked with well-known names in the reggae community, as evidenced by recent releases such as "Got Me On The Run" with Stick Figure and collaborative tracks like "Tides" featuring Iration. Balancing between leisurely melodies and sometimes more risqué lyrical content, as shown in songs like "Dirty Mind," Pepper continues to produce music that captures the essence of their Hawaiian roots while appealing to a broad audience of reggae and rock enthusiasts.
