Cuban Link, born Felix Delgado on December 18, 1974, is a Cuban-American rapper and original member of the group Terror Squad. Born in Havana, Cuba, and later emigrating to the United States, he settled in the South Bronx area of New York. During the mid-1990s, Cuban Link connected with fellow rappers Big Pun and Triple Seis, along with producers Prospect and Dominican Joe, to form the full ensemble of Terror Squad. The group was signed to Atlantic Records and became known for their gritty lyrics and distinct Latino-flavored hip-hop.
Cuban Link's career took a pivotal turn after the untimely death of big Pun in 2000, leading to his eventual solo career. Gaining recognition for his lyrical prowess and earnest delivery, Cuban Link has carved out a niche in the hip-hop community. His singles "Ella Tiene," "Abusadora," and "Nobody Gotta Know" showcase his evolution as an artist, combining sensual rhythms and catchy hooks with street-savvy storytelling. Despite facing challenges in the music industry, including a well-publicized split from Terror Squad, his solo work has maintained a devoted fan base and he continues to be a respected figure in the rap community for his authentic representation of the Cuban-American experience and his contributions to the genre.
