Jordi Sabatés is a Barcelona-born pianist, composer, and eclectic musical storyteller whose career spans jazz, classical, film soundtracks, and avant-garde explorations. Emerging from Catalonia’s vibrant 1970s scene, he co-founded the genre-blurring band Música Urbana, mixing progressive rock with Mediterranean folk flair.
