Dhananjay Dhumal

**Dhananjay Dhumal** is a multi-talented musician and composer with over four decades of experience in Indian classical and film music. Born in 1975 in Bhagur, Maharashtra, he began playing harmonium at age two and gained early recognition as a child prodigy—HMV labeled him “Master” for his music direction on the 1985 album *Tumchi Aamchi Padali Hi Gaath*, featuring legendary Lavani singer Sulochana Chavan. He’s known for blending innovation with tradition, pioneering Indian classical music on synthesizers (dubbed “Vividha Tarangini” by spiritual leader H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi) and contributing to films like *Sparsh* and *Mahasatta 2035* as a lyricist and composer. His global performances span Italy, France, Russia, and more, alongside icons like Pt. Shivkumar Sharma and Pt. Bhimsen Joshi. Recent works include the *Jivan Sandhya* soundtrack and *Mahasatta 2035*, showcasing his versatility in both classical and contemporary projects. A Sahaja Yoga practitioner since 1993, Dhumal’s music often carries spiritual undertones, reflecting his belief in music as a conduit for “Param Chaitanya” (supreme consciousness).
