He initially gained recognition alongside his sister Karla Vásquez as part of the duo *Kevin Karla y La Banda*, which focused on creating Spanish versions of popular English songs. In 2018, Kevz launched his solo career under the moniker "Kevz," releasing his debut single "Cerro Alegre" and preparing his first solo album. His music often explores themes of empowerment and personal expression.
