Burhan Toprak

Burhan Toprak is a Kurdish musician born in 1989 in Çinar, Amed, in the region of Northern Kurdistan, Turkey. He is known for his work in traditional Kurdish folk music, often incorporating instruments like the baglama, piano, tembûr, bilûr, and def into his performances. Toprak has been active in the music scene since 2005 and has released several albums, including "Gûl Şerîne," "Dewran e," "Gundio Hawar," "Lo Lo Keko," and more recently "Mirani" in 2023. He has collaborated with various artists and has performed in Turkey, Europe, and other countries with significant Kurdish populations.

Toprak's music often reflects the rich cultural heritage of Kurdish folk traditions, blending traditional elements with contemporary styles. His performances are highly regarded for their energetic and engaging quality, often featuring duets with other notable Kurdish musicians.
