Pierangelo Fornaro is an Italian composer and guitarist, born on March 16, 1970, in Alessandria. He graduated in guitar under Maestro Guido Margaria, in composition with Maestros Carlo Mosso and Gilberto Bosco, and in electronic music with Maestro Ruggero Tajé. Additionally, he holds a degree in Political Science, with a thesis focusing on the political implications of music. Fornaro also obtained a diploma in the Arrangement and Composition course at the *Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale (APM)* in Saluzzo, where he later taught composition and arrangement.
Fornaro is perhaps best known for his work as part of *Bottega del Suono*, a collaborative project with Corrado Carosio. Together, they have composed music for various TV series, films, and advertisements. Their notable works include the soundtracks for the TV series *Rocco Schiavone*, *Vostro Onore*, and *Non Uccidere*, as well as feature films like *Il Mammone* and *Buio*. Fornaro and Carosio have received several awards for their work, including the Best Music for Italian TV Fiction Series award for *Rocco Schiavone* in 2017.
