He holds a degree in Vocal Jazz from the "Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espectáculo do Porto." His musical journey has also taken him to cities like Barcelona and Berlin, where he studied at the "Taller de Muzics" and the "Jazz Institute of Berlin," respectively. Linhares has collaborated with notable figures in the jazz scene, including Judy Niemack and John Hollenbeck.
