Ciguli was a Bulgarian Chalga singer and accordionist of Turkish-Romani descent, born in 1957. His real name was Ahmet, but due to restrictions by Bulgarian authorities at the time, he was officially registered as Angel Jordanov Kapsov. Ciguli gained popularity not only in Bulgaria but also in Turkey, where he became well-known for his lively performances and hits like "Binnaz," "Şiki Şiki Baba," and "Yapma Bana Numara!" He collaborated with famous Turkish artists such as Sibel Can and İbrahim Tatlıses. Ciguli's music often blended traditional folk elements with modern pop influences, making him a beloved figure in both Bulgarian and Turkish music scenes.
Ciguli's career spanned multiple albums, including "Binnaz" (1999), "Horozum" (2000), "Sabır Yaaa Sabır" (2003), "Ben Akordiyonum" (2006), and "Sensiz Kaldım Şimdi" (2010). He also appeared in several films, showcasing his versatility as an artist. Ciguli passed away on October 31, 2014, leaving behind a legacy of vibrant music and memorable performances.
